Susan A. Shirley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy (Mental Health/Behavioral Health/Emotional Health/Addictive Disorders) and maintains a private practice/consultant in both Florida and Louisiana.

With over 25 years experience a Licensed Therapist, and as a graduate of the University of Louisiana in Lafayette specializing in Vocational Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Depression/Anxiety/Adjustment Disorders and Difficulties; Addictions and Impulse Control behaviors; Body Image/Disordered Eating/Eating Disorders; Self Worth and Self-Esteem; Trauma issues; Marital and Family Conflicts (High Conflict Marriages, Separation/Divorce, Reunification, Blended families); various behavioral issues and life challenges.

In addition to being a respected and trusted therapist, Susan Shirely has presented at University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the Allied Nursing and Social Services Continued Education Department speaking on the topics of Body Image/Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders with addition of general addictions components
